My Poems

Melody

You are the melody

Of the rustling leaves

Fallen on my stone

Whither I slipped

Into an unfathomable slumber

With the darkest oblivion

And exhausting memories

Never to awaken

To sentient the living

In brimming tears

And a black veil

Camouflaging the agony

Of my absence

But as you saunter

Across the lifeless twigs

And dried, sun-bakes leaves

The touch of your skin

Aroused my restless soul

From the sombre silence

Of the cold wooden casket

Waking me up again

Within my dark grave
