My Poems

The Dance of the Bedside Light

The lights flickered

With the rhythm

Of our entwined breaths

And sweet moans of pleasure

When we made

On the vintage bed

No promises but only love

The black silk sheet

Refused to cover

Our bodies

Brewing lust

Slovenly

Silent poetry was made

In that twilight

By the lyrical rhythms

Of our entwined breaths

And the dancing bedside light
